A tear-jerker, John. Would have liked to know more of her story, before and after your snippet, but that's a short story, isn't it? The good ones leave you wondering, wanting more. I know there are many people like Jonce and the waitress and the cook in the world. I wish we heard more about them and less about those few who do evil.
